Gluten Free Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings

Ingredients

Oil for frying

12-15 chicken wing pieces

1/2 cup rice flour for coating

2 teaspoons Fody Lemon Herb Seasoning (or Nommy's Ultimate Lemon Pepper Seasoning recipe)

Salt to taste

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Zest of one lemon

Juice of one lemon

2 Tablespoons of Butter

Directions

Pat chicken wings dry. Roll in rice flour. Deep fry until golden brown and crisp.

While wings are frying, Melt butter, and add remaining ingredients. Toss wings in butter sauce and serve with your favorite condiment. We love these with zesty ranch or homemade buffalo sauce.

Don't want to deep fry?

If you have an air fryer, you can get delicious crispy wings without the deep frying! Simply remove the rice flour from this recipe, coat wings in avocado oil and air fry at 390 F until browned and crisp.
