Gluten Free Marsala Cream Pasta 

Ingredients

1 small onion diced

2 garlic cloves minced

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 lb. baby bella mushrooms sliced

1/2 cup marsala wine

1/4 cup cream, more to your liking

6 ounces fresh Spinach, chopped

1 box Jovial Gluten Free Pasta (we like the brown rice penne or rotini for this recipe)

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Red Chilli Flakes (optional)

Directions

Bring water to a rapid boil. Add salt and pasta. Cook pasta to desired doneness.

Melt butter and olive oil in a heavy bottomed skillet. Sautee 1 small onion and 2 diced garlic cloves until translucent.

Add sliced mushrooms and sautee for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.

Add 1/2 cup marsala wine and simmer 10 minutes until alcohol evaporates.

Add 1/4-1/2 cup cream to your liking, salt and pepper.

Cook for a couple minutes and add cooked gluten free pasta.

Add spinach and cook until wilted.

Top off with red chilli flakes.
