One twist on the classic recipe is our silky roasted garlic hummus. The addition of roasted garlic not only adds a rich depth of flavor, but also a smooth and velvety texture to the hummus. Homemade Roasted Garlic Hummus

Ingredients

1 cup cooked chickpeas (some people prefer to peel their chickpeas; we do not)

1/4 cup tahini

1 head roasted garlic

juice of half a lemon

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 teaspoon cumin

Salt and Pepper to taste

2-4 Tablespoons water depending on your preferred consistency

Directions

Using either a food processor or a blender, blend the tahini, garlic, and lemon.

Add olive oil, cumin, salt, and pepper. Then, blend.

Add chickpeas and process for 1-2 minutes until smooth.

Stream in water and blend until desired consistency is reached.
