Smooth and Creamy Tahini

Our tahini is nutty, creamy, and so very easy to make at home! Not only is it gluten free, but also vegan and dairy free, and a great addition to hummus, granolas, smoothies, sandwiches, falafel wraps, and salad dressings!

Smooth and Creamy Tahini

Ingredients

1 cup hulled sesame seeds

3-4 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Toast hulled sesame seeds on low heat in a heavy-bottomed skillet.

Pulse sesame seeds and salt in a food processor and pulse until crumbly and coarse.

Stream in olive oil and process until smooth and creamy.

Store in refrigerator until ready to use. It will stay good for up to one month in the refrigerator. It will separate, but all you have to do is stir it thoroughly.
